Amanda Messingschlager, MS, OTR/L

My name is Amanda and I am a pediatric occupational therapist with experience in outpatient, school, and home-health settings.

Individualized, one-to-one therapy provided in your child’s natural environment.

Evaluation

After a phone consultation with a therapist, an evaluation may be recommended and scheduled. Standardized evaluation results are typically shared within 2–3 weeks, at which point the therapist will determine if services are appropriate.

Services

Based on the evaluation results and the therapist’s clinical assessment, recommendations for therapy frequency and duration will be provided. Services are typically offered in 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions, one to three times per week, depending on the child’s needs. A plan of care outlining specific goals will guide the therapy process.
